Uluwatu surf

Uluwatu surf was one of the main reasons that I decided to make Bali my home. I remember the first time I saw the Uluwatu surf back in 2006. Uluwatu is one of the most beautiful places in the world. I was in Bali just on vacation, but I knew I had to get back soon and spend as much time as possible in the Uluwatu surf.

Uluwatu offers a wife variety of surf breaks. You can surf Temples, the peak or racetrack. The racetrack is probably the best wave at Uluwatu as far as performance is concerned Uluwatu surf was first shown on the world stage in the film Morning of the Earth. This was in the 1970s. Since then surfers have been making the journey to Uluwatu to surf some of the best waves in the world.

Today Uluwatu has grown and developed. The whole surrounding community is primarily built around the outstanding Uluwatu surf. Now there are bars, restaurants and hotels in the area. Uluwatu is a great place to call home. For the expats lucky enough to live in the Uluwatu area full time, the lifestyle is second to none.
